Tamin Lipsey - Disruptive force on defense Lipsey contributed 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and five steals in 31 minutes during Thursday's 102-62 victory over Grambling State.

The senior point guard who has started all 105 games in which he has played for his hometown school suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in late September but has been at his best through the first two games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.0 boards and 5.5 assists to go along with his elite work on the defensive end.

The 6-foot-10 transfer from Virginia was brought in to bolster the front court for the Cyclones after averaging 5.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across 21.9 minutes while starting 22 of 32 games last season for the Cavaliers.
