Impact Tom Izzo said Friday that "things are not looking good" regarding Loyer's potential to return this season from a shoulder injury suffered Feb. 16 against Purdue. Loyer is still deciding whether or not to undergo surgery, so no official determination has been made yet, though things aren't trending in the right direction to return this season. While he's out, the Spartans will continue on without Loyer as a reserve, who is averaging 4.2 points, 2.3 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 16.5 minutes per game.
