Records first double double
Bidunga finished with 25 points (10-11 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 27 minutes during Saturday's 76-57 win over Princeton.
Impact
Bidunga led the way for the Jayhawks, recording his first double double of the season while connecting on all but one of his 11 field-goal attempts in posting a season-high 25 points. The sophomore center also added three rejections, a total he's reached three times thus far. Bidunga showed glimpses last year while working behind Hunter Dickinson and has thus far shown that he can dominate lesser competition, though his one down game this year came against North Carolina. He'll have another chance to prove himself early next week when the Jayhawks take on Duke in a marquee matchup.

Keeps producing for KU
Bidunga contributed 12 points (6-7 FG), eight rebounds, two assists and four blocks in 19 minutes during Tuesday's 77-46 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Impact
Bidunga's 23 points in the season opener against an undersized mid-major squad in Green Bay may be an outlier, but the new KU center has offered reliable production beyond that, all while staying out of foul trouble (which was the biggest expected challenge heading into 2025-26). He's now averaging 14.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks through three games, all while shooting an incredibly efficient 70.4 percent from the field. He and the Jayhawks have another softer matchup against Princeton set for Saturday before a massive showdown with Duke on Nov. 18, which will be a major litmus test for his rest-of-season fantasy outlook.

Paces Jayhawks with 23 points
Bidunga racked up 23 points (9-11 FG, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 25 minutes during Monday's 94-51 victory over Green Bay.
Impact
Bidunga converted on nine of 11 shot attempts while leading the way in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots for the Jayhawks. The point total represented a new career high for the sophomore center. Bidunga shot just under 70-percent from the floor while starting six games last year in place of Hunter Dickinson, and is set to take over as a major player for the Jayhawks this season.

ROTOWIRE
Steady in exhibition play
Bidunga had six points (3-9 FG, 0-5 FT), nine rebounds and three blocks across 18 minutes in Tuesday's 71-35 exhibition victory over Fort Hays State.
Impact
Bidunga enters the 2025-26 season as the unquestioned starting center for Kansas, as he also started an Oct. 24 exhibition game against Louisville, collecting 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and two steals in 23 minutes. The problem here, as was the case last season, was foul trouble. He fouled out of the Louisville exhibition, and was whistled twice in his 18 minutes on the court against a D2 opponent. Bidunga could possibly post some of the best per-minute numbers in the country this season, but the key to him becoming a fantasy difference-maker is simply staying on the court.

Returning to Kansas
Bidunga will exit the NCAA transfer portal and return to Kansas, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
Impact
Bidunga previously entered the portal following his freshman season with the Jayhawks but will return to Lawrence for his sophomore year. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 5.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game this past season but produced when given the opportunity, averaging 11.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in contests he played 25+ minutes. His return will keep the Jayhawks in the Big 12 title picture heading into the 2025-26 season.

Puts name in portal
Bidunga will enter the transfer portal, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
Impact
Bidunga reportedly hasn't ruled out a return to Kansas, but the backup forward will explore other options after a freshman season that saw him average 5.9 points and 5.4 rebounds across 16.2 minutes with six starts in 34 games. The 6-foot-9 big man shot 70 percent from the field and also chipped in 1.6 blocks per-game, but the former blue-chip recruit will look elsewhere for his sophomore season.

Back to the bench
Bidunga is not listed amongst KU's starting five ahead of Saturday's game against Oklahoma State.
Impact
Bidunga will retreat to the bench after starting against BYU with Rylan Griffen reclaiming his starting spot. The 6-foot-9 freshman has come into his own late in the season for the Jayhawks, averaging 7.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.9 blocks on 22 minutes per game across KU's last 10 outings.

No longer in starting five
Bidunga won't start against Iowa State on Monday, Michael Swain of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Bidunga had played well as a starter, averaging 9.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Still, he'll be subbed out of the starting five in a big game against the Cyclones. Him and Shakeel Moore have been subbed out of the first five for KJ Adams and Rylan Griffen.

Thriving in starting role
Bidunga amassed 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, five blocks and two steals in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 91-87 win over UCF.
Impact
Bidunga started his fourth-straight game despite the return of KJ Adams, playing 29 minutes and recording his second double-double in three games. The highly-touted freshman big man collected five of his 11 rebounds on the offensive end while also adding five blocks and two steals. Bidunga has recorded three of his five double-digit scoring totals and two of his three double-figure rebounding totals during this recent four-game stretch in the starting lineup. During those four games, he's averaging 11.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 blocks across 28.8 minutes per contest.

Leads way for Jayhawks
Bidunga produced 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 36 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 92-86 2OT loss to Houston.
Impact
Bidunga paced the Jayhawks with 19 points but fouled out early in the second OT as Kansas fell at home to Houston. The point total represents a new career high for the talented freshman, who was starting his third-consecutive game in place of the injured KJ Adams (shoulder). Bidunga shot 7-for-10 from the floor and added seven boards, including three on the offensive end. As it stands right now, Bidunga is set to receive at least one more start before Adams' projected return to the lineup on Feb. 1.

Impact
