Impact Council has been forced to step back a bit offensively with the return of five-star freshman and future NBA lottery pick Darryn Peterson, but he came in clutch here with a four-game scoring high on a night in which Peterson was limited to 16. There's still plenty of fantasy value here for the Kansas point guard, even with Peterson at full strength, as Council is also chipping in averages of 4.8 apg and 4.5 rpg. The duo has helped the Jayhawks to a three-game winning streak, which includes a signature victory Jan. 13 against Iowa State.

The effort marked White's fifth double double of the season and came on the heels of a season-worst offensive performance in which he scored six points on 1-for-8 shooting against Baylor. Otherwise, White has been a great addition for the Jayhawks this season and is posting averages of 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks with three double doubles through six conference games.

Impact Peterson put together the most efficient offensive performance of his young career, tallying 26 points while shooting an impressive 11-for-13 (84.6-percent) from the floor. The freshman wing missed nine of the final 11 non-conference games with a quadriceps injury but has shown why he's likely to be one of the top players taken in next year's NBA draft in the five conference games since his return to the lineup, averaging 24.6 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 48.8-percent from the floor and 39.5-percent from beyond the arc.
