The Owls have dropped five straight games to fall out of the American Conference race. They face first-place South Florida on Sunday. Parker had 13 points and three rebounds in the Jan. 25 loss to the Bulls that started the losing streak.

Impact Carlyle missed his second-straight game as the Owls of FAU were taken down by the Owls of Rice University on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-3 junior, who is averaging 14 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and one steal across 20 games (19 starts), will have his next chance to suit up against USF this Sunday. Carlyle's status remains uncertain after missing three of FAU's last four games.
