Devin Williams - Grabs 11 boards, swats seven
Williams closed Wednesday's 60-52 win over UTSA with eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and seven blocks over 33 minutes.
Impact
The 6-10 sophomore has rejected 12 shots in his last two games. His 2.9 blocks per game is second in the nation (behind UC-Irvine's Kyle Evans who is at 3.3 blocks). He helped the Owls snap a six-game losing streak and equaled his career high in blocked shots. FAU heads to Denton to take on North Texas on Sunday.

Impact
The 6-7 freshman supplied his fourth straight double-double as the Owls snapped a six-game losing streak. He has six double-doubles on the season, all in the last nine games. Over that span, Parker has averaged 16.0 points on 61.4 percent from the field and 9.4 rebounds. He has also started the last two games. FAU will go for two wins in a row on Sunday at North Texas.

Devin Vanterpool - Unavailable Wednesday
Vanterpool (undisclosed) is unavailable on Wednesday at UTSA.
Impact
It's unclear why Vanterpool isn't able to play Wednesday, but the starting guard will miss his first game since Jan. 29. This is a big loss for the Owls; he averages 15.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists.

Devin Vanterpool - Provides 26 points
Vanterpool produced 26 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Sunday's 83-81 OT loss to South Florida.
Impact
Vanterpool scored the final points in regulation with nine seconds remaining to send the game into overtime. It was the 6-4 sophomore's seventh 20-point game. Since missing a game at the end of January, Vanterpool has provided 15.3 points on 40.0 percent from the field with 4.3 rebounds over four games. The Owls will look to stop their six-game slide on Wednesday at UTSA. Vanterpool had 21 points in 21 minutes in the Dec. 31 win over the Roadrunners.

Devin Williams - Scores 15, swats five
Williams accumulated a season-high 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, five blocks and two steals across 39 minutes during Sunday's 83-81 OT loss to South Fl...
Impact
The Owls were once in first place in the American Conference, but their current six-game losing streak has dashed most thoughts of play into late March. Williams had only provided 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in his two previous games coming into Sunday. The 6-10 sophomore still leads the conference with 2.7 blocks. His 70 blocks are fifth most in school history, but Brett Royster's 97 rejections in 2010-11 may be out of reach.

Kanaan Carlyle - Returns with 15 points
Carlyle (calf) racked up 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 83-81 OT loss to South Florida.
Impact
The Owls lost both games without Carlyle, but came closer to a win (which only counts in horseshoes) with the 6-3 junior in the lineup. He was able to play a stater's complement of minutes and should be ready to go the rest of the season. The Owls make a Texas swing next week with stops in San Antonio on Wednesday and North Texas on Sunday. Carlyle had 16 points in the Dec. 31 win over UTSA.

ROTOWIRE
Xander Pintelon - Not part of starting lineup
Pintelon is not part of the Owls' starting lineup for their upcoming game Sunday against South Florida, FAU Owls Nest reports.
Impact
Assuming that Pintelon plays Sunday, it would marks his first non-start this season. He has struggled in recent games, failing to make a field goal across each of the Owls' last four matchups.

ROTOWIRE
Niccolo Moretti - Not part of starting lineup
Moretti is not part of the Owls' starting lineup for their upcoming game Sunday against South Florida, FAU Owls Nest reports.
Impact
In place of him is Kanaan Carlyle, who is back after a two-game absence. In the two games, Moretti logged 25 points for one but four on 1-of-9 shooting from the other.

ROTOWIRE
Kanaan Carlyle - Starting against USF
Carlyle (calf) is part of the Owls' starting lineup for their upcoming game Sunday against South Florida, FAU Owls Nest reports.
Impact
After a two-game absence and three DNPs across the Owls' last four games, Carlyle is back and ready to go for them. Ideally for him, he can bounce back from a Feb. 1 start that saw him score zero points and commit three turnovers. Carlyle is averaging 14.0 points and 2.0 three-pointers made this season, so expectations for him remain high.

Impact
The 6-7 freshman has four double-doubles in his last seven games. Over that span, he has averaged 16.4 points on 56.0 percent from the field with 8.9 rebounds. The Owls have dropped five straight games to fall out of the American Conference race. They face first-place South Florida on Sunday. Kanaan Carlyle - DNP Wednesday
Carlyle (calf) did not appear in Wednesday's 81-73 loss against Rice.
Impact
Carlyle missed his second-straight game as the Owls of FAU were taken down by the Owls of Rice University on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-3 junior, who is averaging 14 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and one steal across 20 games (19 starts), will have his next chance to suit up against USF this Sunday. Carlyle's status remains uncertain after missing three of FAU's last four games.

Kanaan Carlyle - Questionable to face Rice
Carlyle (calf) is questionable to face Rice on Wednesday.
Impact
Carlyle missed last Wednesday's game, a 76-78 loss to Tulsa, and is in danger of missing another contest. The starting point guard, who averages 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists, is likely to get replaced by Niccolo Moretti in the Owls' starting five if he's forced to sit out again.
