Impact Jackson is a Top 25 recruit and has continued to get better over the summer foreign tour and in fall practices. It was thought that Towson transfer Nicolas Timberlake would have the inside track to start at shooting guard to begin the season, but Jackson's explosiveness and ball-handling could give the freshman the upper hand. Jackson didn't have his best performance in the exhibition game, but he will be a big part of the rotation this season for Kansas as he continues to get more comfortable with the college game.
