Heads to Charlotte Finister (transfer portal) has committed to joining UNC-Charlotte ahead of the 2026-27 season, PortalUpdates reports.

Impact Finister gets a fresh start with a new program after playing last season with UL-Lafayette. The junior guard averaged 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals on 32.5 minutes across 31 starts last season. He will fight for a starting role in the upcoming campaign.

Impact Finister had a tremendous redshirt junior campaign in 2025-26, averaging 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists as an every-game starter after transferring from Sam Houston. The 6-foot-5 guard, with one more year of eligibility remaining, will now seek a new home. His touch from distance last season (37 percent on 3.5 attempts per game) is one of several attractive traits he possesses.
