Layden Blocker - Scores 11 versus UConn Blocker posted 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes during Sunday's 72-54 loss to UConn.
Impact Blocker led the Blue Demons in scoring Sunday, but it was not near enough to pull an upset win over the red-hot Huskies. He's struggled shooting the ball over the first two Big East games of the season, shooting just 7-25 from the field and 1-7 from three over his last two games. He also did not attempt a single free throw versus UConn or St. John's. He will look to get back on track at Villanova on New Year's Eve.

Brandon Maclin - Available vs Huskies Maclin (shoulder) is available for Sunday's matchup against UConn, per Nick Palazzolo of The DePaud.
Impact Maclin was previously listed as questionable for Sunday's contest due to a nagging shoulder injury but he appears to be ready to give it a go against the Huskies. The 6-foot-3 senior previously made his return to action against St. John's last week after missing DePaul's previous three contests.

Impact Maclin returned from a three-game absence due to a shoulder injury to play in DePaul's most recent game. Kaleb Banks - Double-double in Tuesday's loss Banks contributed 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds and one steal over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 79-66 loss to St. John's.
Impact Banks made just his fourth start of the season Tuesday and he made the most of his opportunity with easily his best performance of the season. He recorded his first double-double of the season as he set season highs in points (19) and rebounds (10). He played nearly the entire game and took 16 shots -- seven more than his previous season high -- and hit a season-high three three-pointers. This massive spike in production and volume was a bit of a surprise, and it's currently unclear if this will be an anomaly or the beginning of his breakout.
DECEMBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Brandon Maclin - Plays 20 minutes in return Maclin (shoulder) provided zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 20 minutes during Tuesday's 79-66 loss to St. John's.
Impact Maclin didn't score despite playing 20 minutes, but at least he was healthy enough to see consistent playing time. Maclin is back from a three-game absence, and it wouldn't be surprising if he returns to the starting lineup sooner rather than later.

The senior guard has started every game he's played in this season, but it what should be a tough matchup against the Johnnies, it remains to be seen if he'll be available.
DECEMBER 16, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Kruz McClure - Slides to second unit McClure will come off the bench for Tuesday's game against St. John's, 247Sports.com reports.
