Impact Seton Hall's tournament hopes are suddenly in jeopardy, as the 13-11 Pirates are firmly on the bubble with only a regular season game against St. John's and the Big East Tournament remaining. The three-game losing streak has hardly been the fault of Mamukelashvili, who has three double-doubles in his last five games, averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds over that span. He gets an outstanding individual matchup Saturday against the Red Storm, who play at a fast pace but are well regarded as the worst defensive team in the conference.

Leads team against Seton Hall Whaley had a team-high 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt) to go along with 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 33 minutes in Wednesday's 69-58 victory over Seton Hall.
Impact Whaley had been reported to be dealing with ankle trouble in mid-February, and potentially as a result, has been averaging just 21.3 mpg over his last four contests. He logged his highest minutes total since the start of February in this one, however, as the senior's post presence was ultimately needed in the absence of Josh Carlton (ankle). Whaley now has four double-doubles on the year, with season-long averages of 7.9 points and 6.2 rebounds -- both career highs.
