Led by Ben Bradford's 29 points, the No. 5 seed Charlotte 49ers defeated the ninth-seeded Tulane Green Wave 74-60 in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament

Dezayne Mingo - Puts up near triple-double Mingo notched 19 points (5-17 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Thursday's 74-60 victory over Tulane.

Impact Mingo set season highs in both rebounds and assists. The 6-4 senior had three 10-assists games earlier in the season. He missed one game, but started the other five most recent games and averaged 11.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists over that span. The 49ers play against UAB on Friday. Mingo had 13 points and four assists in the Mar. 4 loss to the Blazers.

Ben Bradford - Goes off for 29 points Bradford closed with 29 points (9-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block across 33 minutes during Thursday's 74-60 win over Tulane.

Impact Bradford scored 31 points in the season opener. He was held to seven points in the regular season finale against South Florida, but looked like a different player against the Green Wave. The 6-5 sophomore set a season high in 3-pointers. The 49ers take on UAB on Friday. Bradford had 17 points and seven rebounds int he loss to the Blazers on Mar. 4.

Rowan Brumbaugh - Scores 25 in loss Brumbaugh supplied 25 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Thursday's 74-60 loss to Charlotte.

Impact Brumbaugh paced the Green Wave in scoring once again. The 6-4 junior scored 91 points in his last three games, but his output wasn't enough to knock off the 49ers. His teammates combined for 35 points on 22.0 percent from the field. Brumbaugh has averaged 19.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

Major Freeman - Sidelined again Freeman (undisclosed) is out for Charlotte's tilt with Tulane on Thursday.

Impact Freeman will now miss his third straight game, as he closed the regular season with two straight absences. The senior guard has been rather inconsistent for the 49ers this season, averaging 6.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
