Impact Floyd was questionable for the second straight game, and he played for the second straight game as the Friars' Big East Tournament run ended qat the hands of the Johnnies. However, his impact was minimal across 10 minutes. It's unclear if Providence will play in a postseason tournament; Floyd's season may be over.

Impact Sellers scored 21 points Thursday -- a mark he has hit in six of the last seven games -- but it was not enough to overcome St. John's in the Big East Tournament quarterfinal. With Providence sitting below .500 and Sellers out of eligibility, this marked his final collegiate game. He led the Big East in scoring this season averaging 18.3 points per game, capping off a productive career that also saw him star at Ball State and UCF. He'll now look to take his strong scoring prowess to the professional level.

Impact Vaaks led the team with 23 points and hit five three-pointers Thursday, but it was not enough to avoid elimination in the Big East Tournament quarterfinal. It marks the end of a tremendous freshman campaign for Vaaks where he averaged 15.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.9 steals across 31.3 minutes per game. He figures to be the focal point of the Friars' roster next season should he return.

Ryan Mela - Scores 16 in tournament loss Mela notched 16 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 36 minutes during Thursday's 85-72 loss to St. John's.
Impact Mela scored 16 points in his fourth consecutive game Thursday, but it was not enough to avoid elimination at the hands of the Red Storm. With the loss, Mela and the Friars' season comes to a close. He made 32 appearances (21 starts) this season and averaged 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 25.6 minutes per game. He showed signs of being a consistent producer from a scoring perspective and on the glass during the second half of the season, so the sophomore figures to be an important player for Providence next season should he return.

Jason Edwards - Out Thursday Edwards (undisclosed) is out for Thursday's Big East Tournament matchup against St. John's, per Bill Koch of The Providence Journal.
Impact Edwards will be held out of Thursday's contest, marking his second straight missed game due to an undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-1 senior has had trouble staying on the floor as of late, appearing in just seven of the team's last 16 games heading into Thursday. If Providence is able to pull off hte upset over St. John's, Edwards will get another chance to return in a potential Big East Tournament matchup on Friday.
