Isaiah Evans - Promoted to starting role Evans is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against UNC, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.
Impact The Blue Devils are forced to change their lineup for this contest since Cooper Flagg (ankle) is out for this matchup against UNC, so Evans will move into the starting lineup. This will be just the second start of the season for the freshman, who's averaging 7.9 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game this season.

ACC Conference Tournament odds: Duke favored despite Flagg injury
Maliq Brown - Out Friday Brown (shoulder) is out for Friday's game against UNC, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact This is not a huge surprise, as Brown separated his shoulder during Thursday's win over Georgia Tech and doesn't have a timetable for his return. It wouldn't be surprising if Brown is out until the NCAA Tournament, and even having him available for that could be considered a stretch. Brown previously separated his left shoulder in February, causing his to miss four games. Unfortunately for the 6-foot-9 junior, he appears to have suffered the same injury to the same shoulder.

Cooper Flagg - Out against UNC Flagg (ankle) will not appear in Friday's matchup with North Carolina, Adam Zagoria of NJ.com reports.
Impact Flagg will be held out of Friday's ACC semifinal matchup with the Tarheels after suffering an ankle injury during Thursday's quarterfinal matchup against the Yellow Jackets. The 6-foot-9 freshman is the consensus top prospect in the 2025 NBA Draft class, averaging 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks across 32 starts. The Blue Devils will likely proceed with caution when it comes to Flagg's injury, ensuring he is good-to-go for the NCAA Tournament next week.

Khaman Maluach - Strong two-way presence Maluach amassed 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and four blocks over 24 minutes during Thursday's 78-70 win over Georgia Tech.
Impact Several role players had to step up for the Blue Devils on Thursday following the injury of Cooper Flagg (ankle), but Maluach was a pleasant surprise on both ends of the court. The big man finished second in the team in scoring while also leading Duke in rebounds and blocks. He'll need to be at his best in Friday's semifinal against UNC.

Kon Knueppel - Carries Duke to ACC semis Knueppel amassed 28 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 12-13 FT), five rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Thursday's 78-70 win over Georgia Tech.
Impact The Blue Devils lost Cooper Flagg due to an ankle injury Thursday, but Knueppel stepped up and carried the team to victory, setting up another rivalry match against North Carolina. Flagg is expected to miss Friday's game, so Knueppel could be in line for a bigger role on offense once again.
