Emanuel Sharp - Takes home Big 12 tourney MVP Sharp closed Saturday's 72-64 victory over Arizona with 17 points (6-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and three rebounds across 32 minutes.
Impact Sharp averaged 20.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals during the Big 12 tournament to earn MVP honors as Houston completed the sweep of the regular season and postseason crowns. Sharp leads a Houston squad that is poised to earn a one-seed and enter the NCAA Tournament as one of the favorites to cut down the nets in neighboring San Antonio.

Milos Uzan - Title-winning performance Uzan closed Saturday's 72-64 win over Arizona with 25 points (8-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes.
Impact Uzan buried four of his six attempts from deep en route to posting a season-high scoring mark during Saturday's Big 12 championship win. The junior point guard was huge during the entire tournament, shooting 51.5-percent from the field, 58.3-percent from three and 92.3-percent from the charity stripe, averaging 17.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists during those three games. Uzan was an under-the-radar portal pickup from Oklahoma in the offseason but has a chance to turn himself into a marquee name as Houston will enter the NCAA Tournament almost certainly as a one-seed and one of the favorites to cut down the nets when all is said and done.

Ja'Vier Francis - Plays season-high 29 minutes Francis supplied eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT) and seven rebounds in 29 minutes during Saturday's 72-64 victory over Arizona.
Impact Francis played a productive 29 minutes off the bench for the Cougars, providing his typical physical presence while seeing his most floor time this season. The senior forward saw additional run due in part to the continued absence of J'Wan Roberts, who did not play in either of the final two games of the tournament after injuring an ankle Thursday. Roberts is expected to return for the NCAA tournament but Francis is an experienced thumper who has started 45 games during his four-year Cougar career and will be a capable replacement if his expanded role needs to continue.

J'Wan Roberts - Won't play in Big 12 title game Roberts (ankle) will remain out in Houston's Big 12 Championship game matchup with Arizona, Chris Baldwin of Paper City Mag reports.
Impact Roberts is reportedly out of his walking boot and his ankle is responding well to treatment, but he won't be available against the Wildcats. He will, however, return for the NCAA Tournament. That'll be a big boost for Houston, as the senior forward averaged 10.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals as an every-game starter.
