Impact Wright managed to salvage his stat line, needing 21 shots to accumulate 20 points while adding seven assists and four boards as the Cougars were run out of the gym by the Knights. The 13-point score differential doesn't tell the entire tale as BYU trailed by as many as 36 early in the second half and were still down by 31 with just over eight minutes remaining. Despite the nature of the contest, Wright played 35 minutes and ended up with a quality fantasy line thanks to tallying 16 points and five assists in the second half with the game already well out of hand. For BYU to make any sort of run in the postseason, they'll need the sophomore playmaker to step up. In three full games since the loss of Richie Saunders to a season-ending knee injury, Wright has hoisted up 14 shots per game, shooting just 33.3-percent from the field and 21.4-percent from deep while averaging 13.0 points, 4.7 assists, 2.7 boards and 1.3 steals across 37.7 minutes per contest.
