Impact Fresh off a 36-point effort against Oklahoma State earlier in the week, Dybantsa poured in another 28 here against a top-10 defensive unit in the country (in terms of efficiency). The freshman phenom constantly had to fight through double teams, and while nothing was easy, he was still the standout player in the game despite BYU coming short. Despite the tremendous individual accolades that are deservedly coming his way, Dybantsa and the Cougars have hit a rough patch, dropping four in a row and five of six. They're still a no-doubt NCAA Tournament team, but winning the Big 12 seems firmly off the table at this point, especially with powerhouses like Houston and Arizona firmly in contention for top seeds come March.

Impact Despite the Cougars finding a way to lose their third straight, Dybantsa continues to display a versatile offensive repertoire that shows why he's a frontrunner to be the top pick in the NBA draft. The freshman blue-chipper went a season-best 5-for-8 (62.5-percent) from beyond the arc and went 13-for-20 (65.0-percent) from the field in tallying the second-most points he's put up all season. Dybantsa also added seven boards, the seventh time he's reached or exceeded that total, and dished out four dimes, the ninth time he's distributed that many helpers.
