Trevin Knell - Heating up Knell accumulated 18 points (6-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 21 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 win over Arizona State.
Impact Knell was nearly perfect from the field, connecting on 6-of-7 shots with five of those makes coming from downtown to match his highest scoring output since the start of conference play. The five triples represented a season high for Knell, who is shooting an impressive 44.9 percent while attempting just under five threes per contest. The senior guard appears to be heating up in time for the postseason run, averaging 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 59.1-percent from the floor and 64.7-percent from beyond the arc during his last three games.

Trevor Best - Opportunity Knocks Best supplied 18 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two assists and two steals over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 loss to BYU.
Impact Best saw game action for just the fifth time this season, shooting a healthy 62.5-percent from the floor and 2-for-3 from long range while amassing 18 points, two helpers and two steals across 24 minutes. The freshman guard, who had played no more than four minutes nor had accumulated a stat line in any appearance prior to Wednesday, was called into duty thanks to the absences of Alston Mason (illness), Jayden Quaintance (knee) and BJ Freeman (team dismissal). If Quaintance and especially Mason do return in time for Saturday's game with Utah, it will be interesting to see if coach Bobby Hurley decides to give Best some additional run in the team's rotation based off of this quality effort.

Joson Sanon - Helps fill void for Sun Devils Sanon finished Wednesday's 91-81 loss to BYU with 18 points (7-17 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-8 FT), five rebounds and four assists over 40 minutes.
Impact Sanon earned the starting nod, playing all 40 minutes while tallying his highest point total since the start of conference play. The freshman guard replaced an ill Alston Mason in the starting lineup for the Sun Devils, who were also without Jayden Quaintance (knee) and BJ Freeman, who was dismissed from the team over the weekend. Sanon played well during the early part of the season but suffered an ankle injury after the calendar turned to 2025 and has mostly struggled since, with Wednesday's performance marking just the second time since mid-December that he's reached double figures in the scoring column. If Mason's illness lingers into the weekend, Sanon would continue to see a lot of action in a softer matchup at Utah.

Basheer Jihad - Paces team with 19 points Jihad ended Wednesday's 91-81 loss to BYU with 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 40 minutes.
Impact Jihad helped to fill the void for a short-handed Arizona State squad Wednesday, leading the way with 19 points during the team's loss to BYU. The Sun Devils were playing without freshman standout Jayden Quaintance (knee), Alston Mason (illness) and BJ Freeman (team dismissal), leading to an increased reliance upon Jihad, who played all 40 minutes and totaled the most points he's scored since the start of conference play.

Dallin Hall - Productive off bench Hall recorded 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one block over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 victory over Arizona State.
Impact Hall came off the bench to contribute 23 productive minutes, going 5-for-8 from the field including a couple of triples en route to a solid 13 point performance. The junior guard added four helpers, a couple of boards and a blocked shot while shooting better than 50-percent from the field for just the second time this season when taking at least five shot attempts. Hall remains a solid contributor for BYU but has seen a production dip across the board this season, thanks in part to the arrival of freshman sensation Egor Demin. However, he's stepped things up a bit over the last four games, averaging 10.8 points, 5.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals while shooting 48.4-percent from the floor.
