Adam Flagler - Seven assists playing mostly point Flagler had 14 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 win over West Virginia.
Impact Flagler was playing a bit out of position on Tuesday with James Akinjo out with an injury. He ended up handling it pretty well and his seven assists were his second highest total of the season. This was also a bounce back performance after scoring just five points in last Saturday's loss to Oklahoma State. If Akinjo remains out on Saturday against Oklahoma, Flagler might see a bump in assists again.

Malik Curry - Leads team in scoring for second straight game Curry had 19 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 loss to Baylor.
Impact Curry's two highest scoring games of the season have now both come in the last two games. He isn't a great shooter, but Curry is very hard to stay in front of and can get to the hoop at will when he's on. He is an interesting player to keep an eye on over the next few weeks on a team that desperately needs more scoring help.

Sean McNeil - Puts up 17 points in loss McNeil logged 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 loss to Baylor.
Impact McNeil has now put up double figure points in 15-of-16 games this season. Over the last nine the junior is putting up 16.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.2 three-pointers in 36.3 minutes per contest while shooting 51 percent from the field and 49 percent from deep. West Virginia has another tough matchup on the road against Texas Tech on Saturday.

Taz Sherman - Bounces back with 18 points Sherman ended Tuesday's 77-68 loss to Baylor with 18 points (5-16 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes.
Impact Sherman still didn't have a great shooting night, but the final line was much more productive than his ugly outing against Kansas last Saturday. Sherman will remain a high volume shooter for the rest of the season with West Virginia having very little places to go for scoring.

LJ Cryer - Game-high 25 points in start Cryer recorded 25 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 victory over West Virginia.
Impact There was little doubt that Cryer was going to be able to step up with James Akinjo out with injury. Coach Scott Drew has given the sophomore the green light to fire whenever he sees fit. If Akinjo is forced to miss more time Cryer will be a great play in all formats. Baylor will take on Oklahoma on Saturday next.

Matthew Mayer - Drains five treys in road win Mayer racked up 20 points (6-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and four steals in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 77-68 win over West Virginia.
Impact Mayer looked as confident as he has looked all season in a big spot on the road with Baylor coming off two straight losses and without their best player in James Akinjo. Mayer is now averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 three-pointers, and 2.5 steals over the last two games after going seven straight games scoring in single figures. He will look to keep up the aggressive play against Oklahoma on Saturday.
