Leads way with double-double Cooper tallied 16 points (4-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 assists, six rebounds and two blocks across 27 minutes Saturday in Auburn's 109-86 win over South Carolina.
Impact Since gaining eligibility Jan. 9, Cooper has helped breathe life into a struggling Auburn squad that had lost three straight games prior to his debut. Over the subsequent five games, Cooper has led the Tigers to a 3-2 record while averaging nearly a double-double (21.2 points, 9.0 assists). Despite his late start to the season, Cooper already looks like a leading contender for the SEC Freshman of the Year Award.
