Zuby Ejiofor - 27-point double-double in loss Ejiofor produced 27 points (9-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 28 minutes during Saturday's 103-96 loss to Alabama.
Impact Ejiofor was an all-out force in the eventual loss to the Crimson Tide, contributing for the Red Storm on all facets of the court. The senior big man missed just three shots from the field, and he tacked on 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the year. He was also a problem for Alabama on the defensive front, totaling two steals and blocks. While the seven-point loss was a tough way for the Johnnies to finish out their second game of the year, Ejiofer's performance previewed a dominance that should continue to be showcased this entire season.
