Josh Hubbard - Erupts for 38 points Hubbard racked up 38 points (14-28 FG, 6-15 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and three assists over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 88-84 loss to Alabama.
Impact Hubbard was dynamite against Alabama, doing everything he can to help the Bulldogs nearly complete the upset win. His 38 points were easily a career high, and he was simply electric as a shooter, as only four of those points came from the foul line. He'll look to keep it up against Missouri on Feb. 1.

Cameron Matthews - Contributes in many facets Matthews supplied four points (1-2 FG, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 30 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 88-84 loss to Alabama.
Impact Matthews hasn't been much of a scorer for the Bulldogs, especially in recent games (six total points in his last three outings). Still, he's contributing in other ways, with six rebounds, four assists and two blocks. He'll continue to play a big role for Mississippi State even if that doesn't mean scoring.

Grant Nelson - Posts 15 points in victory Nelson ended with 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 88-84 win over Mississippi State...
Impact Nelson was cold from beyond the arc and the free-throw line, but still managed to drop 15 points in the narrow win over the Bulldogs. The forward has hit double digit points in four straight games, and has been active on the glass as well. Nelson remains a critical piece for the Tide as they push towards March.

Jarin Stevenson - Brutal outing in win Stevenson notched zero points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 11 minutes during Wednesday's 88-84 victory over Mississippi State.
Impact Stevenson struggled mightily in Alabama's win over Mississippi State. Despite starting, he played just 11 minutes, partially because he started 0-for-5 from the field, including three missed three-pointers. Stevenson has had some quiet, non-consequential nights this season, especially in SEC play.

Clifford Omoruyi - Seven rebounds in win Omoruyi ended with six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one block and two steals in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 88-84 victory over Mississippi State.
Impact Omoruyi hasn't been much of a scoring threat for the Crimson Tide this season, and despite starting in all 21 games he's averaging just 18.4 minutes. He's been highly efficient, hitting 75.9 percent of his shots from the field, but he's attempting 3.8 shots each game as opposed to 7.9 last year. Simply put, the center has seen his role shrink in Tuscaloosa, but he's still playing said role very well.
