In his last eight games, the 7-3 junior has averaged 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks. Michigan will meet Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament final on Sunday. Mara had 10 points and 11 rebounds in the Feb. 17 win over the Boilermakers.

The 7-foot-3 center sure played like it, gobbling up 11 rebounds -- five of which came on the offensive end -- and swatting two shots, including an emphatic denial of Purdue star Trey Kaufman-Renn in the first half that was emblematic of his dominance. Mara has played at an extremely high level for the Wolverines.
