Vikings' Justin Jefferson leaves game at Buccaneers with an ankle injury

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Two-time All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson left Minnesota's game against Tampa Bay in the first quarter on Sunday with an ankle injury.

Jefferson was questionable to return. It wasn't immediately known how he got hurt but he left the sideline and walked to the locker room midway through the second quarter.

Jefferson had two catches for 32 yards from Kyler Murray, who was returning after sustaining a concussion in Week 1.

The Buccaneers lost wideout Jalen McMillan for the rest of the game because of a knee injury.
