Arrow McLaren Announces Free Fan Fest Before Inaugural Event
North Texas sports trailblazers and Hall of Famers DeMarcus Ware and Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez will serve as grand marshals for the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington on Sunday, March 15.
Ware and Rodríguez will deliver the legendary command, “Drivers, start your engines!” ahead of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES main event on race day, adding star power and hometown pride to one of the most anticipated motorsports weekends in the region’s history.
Few athletes are as synonymous with Dallas-Fort Worth sports as Ware and Rodríguez.
Ware, a former Dallas Cowboys linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Famer, built an elite career, becoming the franchise’s all-time sack leader, a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, and a seven-time All-Pro, including four first team selections.
Rodríguez, a former Texas Rangers catcher and National Baseball Hall of Famer, anchored the team for more than a decade, earning 13 Gold Gloves, a Most Valuable Player Award and driving the franchise to its first playoff appearance.
The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington will bring the NTT INDYCAR SERIES to a 2.73-mile temporary street circuit through Arlington’s Entertainment District, winding around iconic venues including AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. The historic weekend will draw fans from across the country for world-class racing, live entertainment and festival-style experiences.

Arrow McLaren To Offer Free Fan Fest at Arlington
The Arrow McLaren NTT INDYCAR SERIES team announced a new, free fan event – the Arrow McLaren Arlington Fan Fest presented by Mission Foods – from 4-8 p.m. CT Wednesday, March 11 during race week for the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington.
All activities will take place at the Arlington Backyard inside the Texas Live! entertainment district.
Fans are invited to join the Arrow McLaren team “in the heart of it all” for a race-week kickoff party inside the racetrack. Arrow McLaren drivers Pato O’Ward, Nolan Siegel and Christian Lundgaard will appear and sign autographs at select times throughout the evening.
There also will be a live livery unveiling of the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet driven by Siegel, giving fans the first look at the car before it races the streets of Arlington that weekend.
Additional on-stage programming will include a Q&A between Dallas-based comedian Ralph Barbosa and O’Ward, and a Women in Sports Panel presented by team partner NTT DATA and featuring female sports executives and race organizers.
Fans also can enjoy various activations across the Arlington Backyard event space, including Mission Foods and VELO product stands, SmartStop racing simulators, merchandise offerings, a “Get Ready Zone” where attendees can glam up before race weekend plus a kid zone and more.
