Stroud scores 21 to lead Texas Southern over Alabama A&M 85-69

HOUSTON (AP) — Deon Stroud had 21 points in Texas Southern's 85-69 victory over Alabama A&M on Saturday.

Stroud added five rebounds for the Tigers (6-12, 4-3 Southwestern Athletic Conference). PJ Henry scored 14 points, going 5 of 9 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 3 for 5 from the line. Grayson Carter was 3 of 6 shooting and 4 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 11 points.

The Bulldogs (3-16, 2-4) were led by Chad Moodie, who recorded 16 points. Omari Peek-Green added 13 points, while Eric Lee finished with eight points and two steals.
