Sprouse leads American University over Hood College 103-74

WASHINGTON (AP) — Geoff Sprouse's 26 points helped American defeat Hood 103-74 on Sunday night.

Sprouse also added five rebounds for the Eagles (4-3). Matt Mayock scored 14 points and added seven rebounds. Elijah Stephens went 5 of 6 from the field to finish with 13 points.

The Blazers were led in scoring by Garrison Linton, who finished with 17 points and six assists. Hood also got 10 points from Justin Gielen. Ryan Hollwedel also had nine points.
