Reid scores 22, Merrimack defeats Saint Francis (PA) 70-66
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) — Ziggy Reid had 22 points in Merrimack's 70-66 victory against Saint Francis of Pennsylvania on Saturday night.
Reid was 7 of 9 shooting, including 4 for 5 from distance, and went 4 for 4 from the line for the Warriors (9-16, 7-4 Northeast Conference). Javon Bennett scored 20 points, shooting 6 for 11 (3 for 7 from 3-point range) and 5 of 7 from the free throw line. Jordan Minor was 7 of 13 shooting and 4 of 7 from the free throw line to finish with 18 points, while adding eight rebounds and three blocks.
The Red Flash (8-15, 5-5) were led in scoring by Josh Cohen, who finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Maxwell Land added 15 points and eight rebounds for Saint Francis (PA). In addition, Brad McCabe finished with 14 points and nine rebounds.
