Muniz's 31 lead Delaware State past Morgan State 78-66
BALTIMORE (AP) — Jevin Muniz put up 31 points as Delaware State beat Morgan State 78-66 on Monday night.
Muniz also contributed six rebounds for the Hornets (9-9, 2-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Martez Robinson scored 19 points while shooting 6 of 16 from the field and 7 for 8 from the line, and added five rebounds and three steals. Kyle Johnson shot 5 of 5 from the field to finish with 11 points.
Kameron Hobbs finished with 24 points, five assists and three steals for the Bears (4-14, 0-2). Will Thomas added 22 points, two steals and two blocks for Morgan State. In addition, Wynston Tabbs had 11 points. The Bears extended their losing streak to six in a row.
