Morris scores 19 as UMass-Lowell defeats Maine 76-62
LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — Cam Morris III's 19 points helped UMass-Lowell defeat Maine 76-62 on Thursday night.
Morris also added 10 rebounds for the River Hawks (15-5, 6-1 America East Conference). Quinton Mincey scored 19 points while shooting 6 for 12 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 6 of 8 from the free throw line, and added six rebounds. Max Brooks shot 6 of 8 from the field to finish with 13 points, while adding nine rebounds and three blocks.
Kellen Tynes led the Black Bears (10-12, 2-5) in scoring, finishing with 16 points, four assists and two steals. Quion Burns added 13 points, six rebounds and two steals for Maine. AJ Lopez also had 13 points.
