Miles scores 17 to lead High Point over Canisius 78-70

HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Duke Miles' 17 points helped High Point defeat Canisius 78-70 on Friday night.

Miles shot 5 for 10 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free throw line for the Panthers (10-4). Kimani Hamilton scored 14 points while going 4 of 8 and 6 of 7 from the free throw line, and added eight rebounds. Abdoulaye had 12 points and shot 5 of 9 from the field.

The Golden Griffins (6-6) were led in scoring by Tre Dinkins, who finished with 25 points and four assists. Frank Mitchell added 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Canisius. In addition, Siem Uijtendaal had 12 points, three steals and two blocks.
