Lungu scores 20, San Diego downs Jackson State 87-61

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Dragos Lungu's 20 points helped San Diego defeat Jackson State 87-61 on Wednesday.

Lungu also contributed six rebounds for the Toreros (2-0). Wayne McKinney III added 16 points while going 4 of 8 and 7 of 10 from the free throw line, and also had 10 rebounds and five assists. PJ Hayes had 14 points and shot 2 for 8 from beyond the arc and 8 of 8 from the free throw line.

Keiveon Hunt finished with 18 points and two steals for the Tigers (0-2). Ken Evans added 12 points for Jackson State. In addition, Jordan O'Neal finished with 12 points and two blocks.
