Jackson scores 16 as Charlotte downs Utah Valley 62-45
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Dishon Jackson had 16 points in Charlotte's 62-45 win over Utah Valley on Wednesday night.
Jackson added seven rebounds for the 49ers (2-1). Igor Milicic Jr. scored 15 points while shooting 5 for 9, including 3 for 6 from beyond the arc, and added 12 rebounds. Lu'Cye Patterson had 13 points and was 5 of 12 shooting, including 0 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 5 from the line.
Drake Allen led the Wolverines (2-1) in scoring, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and two steals. Utah Valley also got 10 points from Caleb Stone-Carrawell. In addition, Trevin Dorius finished with eight points and eight rebounds.
