Crowley scores 25 in Southern Miss' 69-66 victory against Arkansas State
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — Austin Crowley had 25 points in Southern Miss' 69-66 win against Arkansas State on Wednesday night.
Crowley also contributed five rebounds for the Golden Eagles (10-8, 4-2 Sun Belt Conference). Donovan Ivory scored 15 points while shooting 5 for 14 (2 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free throw line, and added eight rebounds. Victor Iwuakor shot 3 of 5 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points, while adding 10 rebounds and six blocks.
Southern Miss took its final lead on a 3-pointer by Crowley with 54 seconds remaining.
Caleb Fields led the Red Wolves (7-11, 3-3) in scoring, finishing with 16 points and nine assists. Arkansas State also got 13 points from Taryn Todd. Derrian Ford finished with 11 points.
