Clark scores 24, Duquesne knocks off Marshall 85-72
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Jimmy Clark III's 24 points helped Duquesne defeat Marshall 85-72 on Wednesday night.
Clark shot 7 for 11 (4 for 8 from 3-point range) and 6 of 8 from the free throw line for the Dukes (6-2). Dae Dae Grant scored 16 points while going 3 of 10 from the floor, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and 9 for 10 from the line. Andrei Savrasov was 4 of 5 shooting and 6 of 9 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points, while adding nine rebounds.
Cam Crawford led the way for the Thundering Herd (2-6) with 20 points and two steals. Marshall also got 14 points from Kamdyn Curfman. Obinna Anochili-Killen also recorded 13 points and 12 rebounds.
