Ligero is as close as you’ll come to seeing a luchador from Leeds, England. Originally told he was too small to be a wrestler, Ligero began learning the ropes as a teenager and has since turned into one of the U.K.’s most well-traveled competitors.
The standout masked athlete first found inspiration in Mexican lucha libre early in his career, a foundation he now complements with a more classical British technique (as well as some seriously hard strikes).
Having wrestled hundreds of matches in the last several years alone, Ligero reached WWE after 17 years, and he will undoubtedly be looking to rely on his considerable ring experience to stand out in the turbulent world of NXT UK.
