Thornton figures to play a significant role for the Valkyries on offense and seems to be responding well to that tag after scoring in double digits in her previous two showings.

Impact Thornton had a terrible time trying to figure out how to shoot at Chase Center in the franchise's debut game in the WNBA. The 32-year-old has been more of a complementary piece in recent seasons, but it appears she'll get a second chance at starting for the Valkyries. It didn't go well Friday, and at this point she is only worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues or as a salary saver in DFS.
