Shaky in franchise debut game Thornton was good for just six points (3-11 FG, 0-6 3Pt) with four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 34 minutes in Friday's 84-67 home loss against the Los Angeles Sparks.

Impact Thornton had a terrible time trying to figure out how to shoot at Chase Center in the franchise's debut game in the WNBA. The 32-year-old has been more of a complementary piece in recent seasons, but it appears she'll get a second chance at starting for the Valkyries. It didn't go well Friday, and at this point she is only worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues or as a salary saver in DFS.
