Signs with Valkyries Thornton (knee) signed a one-year contract with the Valkyries on Monday.

Impact Thornton underwent knee surgery in July which ruled her out for the remainder of the season. She was excellent in 22 appearances, posting averages of 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 three-pointers on 36.2 percent shooting from the field.
