GAME LOG

Returns to action Friday Williams (hand) returned to start the second half of Friday's game against the Dream, per the broadcast.
Impact Williams returned to action after halftime following an early exit at the 8:15 mark of the second quarter with a hand injury. Given how central she's been to the Storm lineup all season, it's a relief for Seattle that the forward was able to push through and get back on the floor.

Returns to bench Williams (hand) returned to the bench in the second quarter of Friday's game against the Dream, Roberta Rodrigues of Forbes reports.
Impact Williams went to the locker room at the 8:15 mark of the second quarter with what was reported as a hand injury, but she later rejoined the Storm bench without any noticeable bandaging or treatment. Her status for the second half will be something to keep an eye on.

Exits to locker room Williams (hand) went to the locker room in the second quarter of Friday's game against the Dream, Roberta Rodrigues of Forbes reports.
Impact Williams exited at the 8:15 mark of the second quarter and headed to the locker room after apparently injuring her hand on the basket she scored the previous possession. The veteran has started all 33 games this season, averaging 32.6 minutes, so her absence would leave the Storm shorthanded. If Williams is unable to return, reserves such as Erica Wheeler, Tiffany Mitchell and Mackenzie Holmes could be in line for more minutes.
AUGUST 16 • ROTOWIRE
Solid all-around performance Williams recorded 11 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 85-75 loss to Atlanta.
Impact Williams has failed to reach the 15-point plateau in each of her six appearances in the month of August, but fantasy managers won't be too bothered by that. She has scored in double digits four times in that stretch, and she's managed to compensate by posting solid numbers in other categories as well. Over that six-game stretch, Williams, who has made her presence felt on both ends of the court, is averaging 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
