Heading to Golden State
Williams and the Valkyries agreed to terms on a multi-year contract Sunday, Andraya Carter of ESPN reports.
Impact
Williams spent the last four years in Seattle and was a full-time starter for the Storm in 2025, when she appeared in all 44 regular-season games and averaged a career-high 11.6 points per game along with 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.1 threes and 2.3 steals over 31.6 minutes. Williams is projected to form a starting frontcourt with Janelle Salaun and Iliana Rupert.

Expected to leave Seattle
Williams is expected to leave the Storm ahead of the 2026 season, Roberta Rodrigues of Beta Basket reports.
Impact
Williams missed most of the 2023 and 2024 WNBA campaigns due to injuries and overseas commitments, but she appeared in every regular-season game for the Storm last year and put together a career-best season, averaging 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.3 steals in 31.6 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter. The 29-year-old will seek out a change of scenery ahead of the 2026 season, and her talent will presumably be in high demand since she's a consistent contributor on both ends of the floor.

Solid stat line in loss
Williams provided seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Thursday's 74-73 Game 3 loss to the Aces.
Impact
Williams impressed over a limited run with the Storm last year, and she put together a career-best year over the full 2025 campaign. She averaged 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.3 steals in 31.6 minutes per game over 44 regular-season appearances. The 29-year-old will likely draw plenty of interest as an unrestricted free agent during the offseason.

Leading scorer in Game 1 loss
Williams posted 16 points (8-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Sunday's 102-77 Game 1 loss to the Aces.
Impact
Williams was held to single-digit scoring totals in each of her final three regular-season appearances, but she bounced back Sunday with a team-high 16 points. However, the Storm were unable to keep up on the scoreboard and will now attempt to avoid elimination at home Tuesday. Williams should continue to have plenty of opportunities to contribute in Game 2.

Fills stat sheet vs. Minnesota
Williams accumulated 16 points (5-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Thursday's 93-79 win over Minnesota.
Impact
Williams' strong all-around production was one of the reasons why the Storm pulled the upset against the Lynx on Thursday. Perhaps more importantly, she bounced back from the two-point dud she posted against Indiana on Tuesday. Williams should remain a solid fantasy alternative in most formats, but her production has stalled a bit. She has failed to reach double-digit points in four of her last 10 outings.

Limited to just two points
Williams finished Tuesday's 95-75 loss to the Fever with two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 18 minutes.
Impact
Williams managed just a single bucket, as she has really tailed off in the scoring department lately. She has scored 10 or fewer points in four straight outings, and her shooting has been abysmal. Williams is hitting just 31.4 percent (11-35 FG) from the field across the four-game span.

Scores nine points Friday
Williams finished with nine points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, an assist and a block across 21 minutes in Friday's 95-60 win over the Wings.
Impact
Williams was the leading scorer for the Storm among their starters, as most of the offensive contributions came off the bench via players such as Dominique Malonga, Erica Wheeler and Tiffany Mitchell. That can be explained due to the blowout nature of the game, though. Expect Williams to remain a key player for the Storm going forward.
