GAME LOG

Ruled out Wednesday Williams (reconditioning) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against Phoenix.
Impact Williams will miss her second game of the 2026 campaign Wednesday. However, Golden State won't play again until Sunday against Toronto, meaning she could be back for that contest. In the meantime, Kaila Charles, who started in Williams' place in the 79-64 win over Connecticut on July 10, could re-enter the starting lineup. If anything, Charles is expected to see more playing time. That should also apply to Janelle Salaun and Tiffany Hayes.

Impact Williams is in jeopardy of missing the Valkyries' first game following the All-Star break for reconditioning purposes. If the star forward is held out of Wednesday's contest, Janelle Salaun, Tiffany Hayes and Laeticia Amihere could see increased playing time.

In addition, the 29-year-old has now recorded multiple steals in four of her last five appearances.

Cleared to play Wednesday Williams (back) is available and starting for the Valkyries on Wednesday against the Fever, Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Impact Williams will return from a one-game absence after recovering from a back contusion, resulting in Kaila Charles reverting to a bench role for Wednesday's game. Williams scored in single digits in three of four games prior to her injury, but she's still averaging a career-high 15.0 points per game (over 25.5 minutes) this season.

Impact Williams exited Wednesday's 83-75 win over Toronto because of a back injury and didn't return.
