Huge outburst off bench Malonga recorded 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 17 minutes during Thursday's 95-57 win over Chicago.
Impact Malonga needed only 17 minutes to log the first double-double of her WNBA career. This performance comes after a pair of scoreless appearances for the rookie center, so while she's yet to consistently piece together Thursday's level of production, it's certainly a big step in the right direction.

Double-digit minutes in blowout Malonga had seven points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 13 minutes during Tuesday's 98-67 win over the Sparks.
Impact After only six minutes against Golden State on Saturday, her fewest since May 23, Malonga played double-digit minutes for the seventh time over Seattle's last nine games during Tuesday's blowout win. Even with the trade of Li Yueru, it appears the Storm are content with bringing the rookie No. 2 overall pick along slowly.
JUNE 18 • ROTOWIRE
Ties season high with eight points Malonga registered eight points (4-5 FG), four rebounds and two assists across 13 minutes in Wednesday's 94-84 victory over the Lynx.
Impact Malonga matched her season-high point total in a single game, as she also had eight points on June 1 against the Aces, and May 25, also against Las Vegas. She is averaging a respectable 6.7 points and 3.7 assists per game in the past three appearances despite averaging just 12.3 minutes per contest.
JUNE 12 • ROTOWIRE
Ties season-high 13 minutes Malonga notched six points (3-5 FG) and four rebounds across 13 minutes during Saturday's 89-77 win over the Mercury.
Impact Malonga tied her season-high mark in playing time and has logged double-digit minutes in five of the Storm's last six games. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft has been used sparingly for Seattle thus far, but she could see a slight bump in minutes moving forward following Li Yueru's trade request Wednesday. Malonga is averaging 4.4 points and 2.0 rebounds across 9.2 minutes per game in nine regular-season appearances.
JUNE 8 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Malonga continues to be used sparingly by the Storm, although more minutes could be on the way in the near future -- Li Yueru requested a trade from the Storm on Wednesday. Through eight regular-season games, Malonga is averaging 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 8.8 minutes.

Plays well in 12 minutes Malonga finished with eight points (4-7 FG) and five rebounds over 12 minutes during Sunday's 102-82 victory over the Aces.
Impact Malonga set multiple season-high marks in the lopsided victory for the Storm. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft should eventually carve out a rotation role, but it could be a slow process with so much talent in the frontcourt.
MAY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Plays one minute in win Malonga chipped in two points (1-1 FG) and one rebound in one minute during Monday's 79-71 victory over the Wings.
Impact After playing 10 minutes in the regular-season opening loss to Phoenix on Saturday, Malonga barely touched the court in her second pro outing. While the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 Draft should carve out a substantial role eventually, the 19-year-old center is currently behind Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor, Alysha Clark and Li Yueru on Seattle's frontcourt depth chart.
MAY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Plays 10 minutes in opener Malonga recorded two points (1-2 FG) in 10 minutes during Saturday's 81-59 loss to Phoenix.
Impact The No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft saw limited playing time off the bench in her debut. It wouldn't be surprising if Malonga's workload increases as the season progresses, though she remains buried behind a plethora of frontcourt options for the Storm.

Won't play at EuroBasket Malonga will not play for the French national team at EuroBasket.
Impact The second overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Malonga wants to focus on her rookie campaign with the Storm. "It was a difficult decision because the French jersey is very important for me," Malonga said. "I decided to stay here because I think my rookie season is really important and I wanted to leave it all with the team." After resting during Sunday's preseason game against the Sun, Malonga should be all set for Opening Night.
