Scores nine in loss Sykes finished Thursday's 74-73 Game 3 loss to Las Vegas with nine points (4-5 FG, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and one block across 23 minutes.
Impact Sykes was efficient during Thursday's narrow loss, but her shot volume remained low as she posted a third consecutive lackluster stat line in the playoffs. The 31-year-old was dealt from the Mystics to the Storm ahead of the trade deadline, and her production took a slight hit with her new team, as she averaged 11.8 points, 3.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30.0 minutes per game. She'll be an unrestricted free agent during the offseason and will likely draw ample interest on the open market.

Impact Sykes posted a solid stat line despite her shooting woes and helped the Storm clinch a playoff berth. She was acquired via trade from the Mystics midway through the season and looked good in a starting role with the Storm, putting up 11.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game across 14 regular-season appearances (13 starts) with Seattle.

Puts up 11 points Friday Sykes closed Friday's 84-76 loss to New York with 11 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes.
Impact Sykes has gone 11 straight games without reaching the 15-point mark after posting a 27-point outburst against the Sparks on Aug. 10. However, she's routinely scored in double digits in that stretch, so she continues to be a solid secondary offensive option in a loaded Seattle offense. Sykes is averaging 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game since the beginning of August.

Impact Sykes posted at least 25 points for the fifth time this season amid her first start since landing with the Storm, and her four steals set a season high as well. Joins starting lineup Sykes is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Sparks.
Impact Sykes came off the bench during her Storm debut Friday against the Aces and posted 14 points, six assists, two rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes. She should have an opportunity to remain productive as a starter, while Erica Wheeler will move to the bench for the first time since early June. While Wheeler showcased some production as a starter, it wouldn't be surprising to see Sykes maintain a starting role for most or all of the final month of the regular season.
