Impact Cortez is looking to deliver a bounce-back performance after losing her previous bout against Erin Blanchfield on Nov. 15, 2025. Cortez has been trending in the wrong direction of late with two losses over her last three fights, and another loss here could complicate her chances of remaining with the promotion on a long-term basis.

Taps out to Erin Blanchfield Cortez lost to Erin Blanchfield via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:44 of Round 2 at UFC 322 on Saturday in New York City.

Impact Cortez looked good here for about four minutes. With nearly all of the opening frame contested on the feet, Tracy looked like the more confident and competent striker. She consistently beat Blanchfield to the punch and landed the more meaningful blows. Once some grappling entered the occasion in Round 2, Cortez was toast. Erin powered her to the mat on two occasions, the second of which led to the rear-naked choke which ended the fight. Tracy one each of her first five UFC fights, but the only notable victory came over Jasmine Jasudavicius. She has struggled since the competition level has risen, dropping two of her last three (Blanchfield, Rose Namajunas) dating back to July 2024.

Impact Cortez won her first five UFC bouts before falling to Rose Namajunas in July of 2024, but she recently bounced back with a win over Viviane Araujo this past June. Sitting at 6-1 in the promotion, she'll look for win number seven against Blanchfield, who is also coming off a bounce-back victory.

Easily handles Viviane Araujo Cortez defeated Viviane Araujo via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC 317 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact It was the most competent all-around performance we have seen from Cortez in quite some time. She primarily leaned on her wrestling, picking up three takedowns on five attempts and being credited with 8:17 worth of control time. Tracy also had a deep submission attempt at the end of Round 1 and landed the far cleaner strikes throughout the duration of the bout. Cortez has yet to really put it all together with the UFC, but she's 6-1 in her first seven fights with the company and has a September 2023 win over Jasmine Jasudavicius on her ledger which has aged extremely well. Cortez also beat Erin Blanchfield via split decision back in their Invicta days.

Impact Cortez was forced to exit from her previously scheduled fight as she suffered an injury. Prior to her injury, Tracy had been victorious in five consecutive bouts before facing defeat in her first UFC main event back in July. She will now face Viviane Araujo, who is coming off a victory and has a 1-3 mark across her last four challenges.
