Impact It was an underwhelming performance from Ulanbekov from start to finish and one in which he was lucky to win as a -500 favor. A grappler by trade, Tagir failed on all eight of his takedown attempts. He was able to use his upper-body strength to pin Maksum along the fence for long stretches at a time, but he landed very little offense from that position. Ulanbekov closed with a 68-62 edge in significant strikes landed. It was a much closer result than the scorecards indicate. Tagir has won four in a row and six of seven with the UFC, meaning he's on the verge of earning some important fights in a thin flyweight division.
