He forfeited a percentage of his purse to Lacerda in order for the fight to proceed and was still dispatched without issue. The 34-year-old Oliveira is now 0-4 with the company, with his last three setbacks coming via stoppage. Even his win on Dana White's Contender Series back in September 2021 was via split decision.

Impact Oliveira weighed in at 144 pounds, missing the UFC's bantamweight limit by a clear margin. However, the promotion's website says their fight is still on, which means that Lacerda appears to have the bout agreed on despite his successful weighing in at 136 pounds.

The 33-year-old Brazilian earned his UFC opportunity with a win on Dana White's Contender Series back in September 2021, but he's failed to earn a victory in each of his three official bouts with the company. Oliveira will almost certainly be released as opposed to being handed a fourth opportunity.
