Impact Now sporting an 0-4 record with the UFC, Bedoya is a lock to be handed his walking papers after this latest setback. He predictably got the better of Mullarkey on the feet whenever the two men were striking at distance, but the three takedowns he allowed on 17 attempts ended up being the difference in the fight. Bedoya is now without some ability and is still just 28 years old, so there's a non-zero chance he can repair his reputation on the regional scene and return to the company at some point in the future.

Another chance for first win Bedoya is scheduled to compete against Jamie Mullarkey in a lightweight fight at UFC Perth on Sept. 27, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact It has been over one year since Bedoya's last fight, in which he failed to log his first UFC win despite fighting Jai Herbert. The former will get another chance, this time against Mullarkey, who is 0-2 in his last two fights.
