Impact Battle missed weight for UFC 319, and it has been decided that because of the miss, both fighters will not compete at the event. Ruziboev will have to wait for another chance at going 5-1.

Opponent overweight for fight Ruziboev is scheduled to compete against an overweight Bryan Battle at UFC 319 on Saturday, according to Jose Youngs of MMA Fighting.

Impact Ruziboev will log 30 percent of Battle's purse, regardless of how the fight turns out. The former, coming off a decision win over Dustin Stoltzfus, will look to go 5-1 across his last six by defeating Battle.

Improves to 4-1 in past five fights Ruziboev defeated Dustin Stoltzfus via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact This was Ruziboev's fourth UFC victory, but it was the first that he didn't win via knockout and the first in which he actually had to work for an extended period of time. He had to fight off a very deep guillotine choke from Stoltzfus in Round 1 which easily could have ended the fight. Ruziboev's power ended up being the difference in the end, however. The fact he was able to take a unanimous decision despite allowing a pair of takedowns and 5:11 worth of control time says something. Ruziboev has a ridiculous number of professional fights under his belt despite the fact he'll be just 32 years of age in November. The company should continue to push him quickly in hopes of seeing what exactly they have here.
