Impact Despite not landing a single takedown, getting taken down four times himself, and landing just 26 significant strikes, Dalby did just enough in Rounds 1 and 3 to go home with the victory. One thing Dalby did do well was rack up control time in a grappling-heavy bout that saw a lot of clinch work. In the end, it was enough for Dalby to pull the upset as a (+270) underdog, as well as snap a two-fight losing streak and potentially save his roster spot in the process.

Scheduled against newcomer Dalby is scheduled to compete against Saygid Izagakhmaev in a welterweight fight at UFC Qatar on Nov. 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Dalby's next opponent, 22-2 overall, will make his UFC debut. As for the former, he will look to redeem himself after he was knocked out by Randy Brown at UFC Kansas City in April.
