Unfortunately for Montel, it came in a defeat because, as usual, he refuses to put together combinations. The six takedowns and 7:45 worth of control time he allowed Barcelos didn't help matters, but Jackson's main issue is his inactivity on the feet. The power is ridiculous, but he simply doesn't throw enough. The 34-year-old won six straight from March 2021 to May 2025, but has lost two in a row since. It's going to be difficult to overcome.
