Impact Usman ultimately admitted to the use of testosterone and BPC-157, later clarifying that he made a mistake while attempting to recover quicker from injury. The heavyweight fighter compiled a 4-2 record while with the UFC, and given he's already 36 years old and won't be eligible to compete again until April of 2028, his future with the promotion is murky, at best.

Out of Walker fight Usman withdrew from his scheduled fight against Valter Walker at UFC Rio, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.

Impact It's unknown why Usman was forced to pull out of the event, but he will now have to wait a bit longer for an opportunity to follow up on his win over Hamdy Abdelwahab in June. It's unclear whether the UFC will be able to find a replacement for Usman in time for Saturday's fight.

Booked vs. Walker Usman will take on Valter Walker in a heavyweight bout at UFC Rio on Oct. 11, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Usman just snapped a two-fight losing streak by beating Hamdy Abdelwahab via unanimous decision back in June. He now sits at 4-1 in the UFC, and he'll look to stack victories against an opponent in Walker who is also off to a very solid start to his career with a 3-1 record in the promotion.

Impact It was Usman's best performance in quite a while and it came in a big spot. He entered having lost back-to-back fights and was probably looking at a release with another setback. It took Usman a full round to find his range, but once he did, he was in full control. The total strike count over the course of the final 10 minutes was 77-39 in Mohammed's favor. Not many of the blows were damaging, but Usman simply outworked Abdelwahab en route to the victory. His roster spot should now be safe for the time being.

Impact The May 17 card was scheduled for Qatar but currently appears to be in question, though the UFC has yet to officially announce a location for its June 21 event. Regardless of location, Usman could be fighting for his roster spot after following up his 3-0 start with the UFC with back-to-back losses.
