Picks up first UFC victory Camilo defeated Slava Borshchev via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC 322 on Saturday in New York City.

Impact Camilo did what he had to do to pick up his first UFC win, but it was by no means a standout performance as a -175 favorite against a struggling opponent. The Brazilian emerged victorious here because Borshchev can't defend a takedown. He landed five on 10 attempts, although his work from top position was mediocre, at best. Camilo also badly gassed out in the latter stages of the fight, but Borshchev simply wasn't able to take advantage. Now 1-1 with the company, virtually all of Camilo's future upside is tied to the fact he won't turn 25 years of age until January.

Borshchev bout scheduled Camilo is scheduled to compete against fellow lightweight Slava Borshchev at UFC 322 in New York City on Nov. 15, per Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.

Impact Camilo was removed from UFC 321 just over two weeks before Cruz's announcement but will take a short-notice fight with barely more than a week before the promotion's annual Madison Square Garden event. He tapped out in his UFC debut against Gabriel Green.

Removed from UFC 321 card Camilo will no longer face Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in a lightweight bout at UFC 321 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Camilo was looking to even his UFC record to 1-1 after falling in his debut with the promotion back in May. He'll have to wait a little longer to step inside the Octagon, however, and it's currently unclear why the fight has been scrapped from the card.

Slated to face Al-Selwady Camilo will take on Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in a lightweight bout at UFC 321 on October 25 in Abu Dhabi, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Camilo is 0-1 in the UFC after losing to Gabe Green via Rear Naked Choke in his debut with the promotion back in May. His opponent is also 0-1, and is coming off three straight cancelled fights, so both fighters' anticipation should be extremely high for this one. Only one can walk out of the Octagon with their first win.

Taps out in UFC debut Camilo lost to Gabriel Green via submission (face crank) at 3:43 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Making his UFC debut as a -225 favorite, Camilo looked excellent right up until the finish. He had Green in all sorts of trouble midway through Round 2, threatening with both an armbar and triangle choke, but Green managed to survive and reverse position and Camilo was eventually forced to tap. There were plenty of positives to take away from this performance despite the end result, and at age 24, it's reasonable to expect further improvements from Camilo on a fight-by-fight basis.
